A Day of Fun at Camp Casey - June 2005
|
The entrance to the Shoeman Road Horse Farm, where Camp Casey was held on June 4, 2005. |
Camp Casey staff guide a camper on horseback around the barn. The campers learned to gallop, stop, conquer the obstacle course, and learn the proper riding stances. |
After the riding lessons, each camper was able to paint a picture on the horse's neck. |
Molly Melamed (center, standing by the horse) taught the campers fun facts about riding horses after their lunch and answered questions about the horses at the farm. |
Camp Casey staff and Beth Monicatti-Blank help the girls with crafts like creating a beaded tiara and painting a wooden star box. |
